FREE – STEO offers Students/Parents an alternate means of “push” communication for Delays and Cancellations.  The BusPlanner Delays App is available for iOS and Android.

Instructions:

Download the BusPlanner Delays App

1. 1. 1. iOS – go into your “App store” on your Apple mobile device, search for busplanner delays  download and open the App
      2. Android – Go to the App Play Store/Google Play store – search for busplanner delays  install,  Accept, Open

NOTE:  For Configuration, for the “Enter Quick Code” to access the STEO transportation information, the code is    steo

Note:  The Parent Portal will provide the appropriate run information.  Both the AM and PM runs should be selected in order to get Delay information for morning and afternoon.  The run names will have an “a” for AM/morning or a “p” for PM/afternoon run at the end of the Run name ex. -1a and -1p

Subscription options:

There are 3 different subscription Options:

1. 1. My Child’s Bus
      1. To subscribe for transportation Delays/Cancellations for your child(ren) only
   2. Specific Schools
      1. To subscribe for ALL transportation Delays/Cancellations for an entire School or Schools
   3. All Alerts
      1. To subscribe for ALL transportation Delays/Cancellations for ALL schools and ALL runs serviced by STEO

For “My Child’s Bus” – to add

1. 1. Open the App
   2. To run the SETUP, on the top of the App Screen, click on the blue wrench icon
   3. Enter Quick Code = steo
      1. Then verify, you should see “Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario”
      2. Then click on “Next”
   4. Then click on “My Child’s Bus”
      1. Select School by clicking within the “Select” school box
      2. Once you have clicked in the box, a list of all Schools will appear at the bottom of the screen
      3. Scroll through the list and when the appropriate school is highlighted, click the BLUE plus sign to add the School to the “Chosen Schools” list
      4. Then click “Next”
   5. Select the Run(s)
      1. Select the Run by clicking the Run “Select” box
      2. Once you have clicked in the box, a list of all Runs will appear at the bottom of the screen
      3. Scroll through the list and when the appropriate Run is highlighted, click the BLUE plus sign to add the Run to the “Chosen runs” list
      4. Then click “Done”
         You will now receive a pop up notification on your mobile device for all delays and cancellations based on your selection.

For “My Child’s Bus” – To remove a School/Run – iOS (Apple)

1. 1. 1. 1. 1. Open the App
            2. Run the SETUP on the top of the App Screen by clicking on the blue wrench icon
            3. Enter Quick Code = steo
               1. Then click on Verify, you should see “Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario”
               2. Then click on “Next”
               3. Then click on “My Child’s Bus”
                  1. To Remove a School(s)
                     1. Use the blue minus sign at the end of the line beside the school name to remove a school from the “Chosen schools” list
                     2. Then click “Next”
                  2. To Remove a Run(s)
                     1. Use the blue minus sign at the end of the line beside the run name to remove a Run from the “Chosen runs” list
                        Note:  At least 1 run must chosen.
                     2. Click on “Done” when finished

For “My Child’s Bus” – To remove a School/Run – Android

1. 1. 1. 1. 1. Open the App
            2. Run the SETUP on the top of the App Screen by clicking on the blue wrench icon
            3. Enter Quick Code = steo
               1. Then click on Verify, you should see “Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario”
               2. Then click on “Next”
               3. Then click on “My Child’s Bus”
                  1. To Remove a School(s)
                     1. Press and hold down on the appropriate School name to remove from the “Chosen Schools” list – then Remove
                     2. Then click “Next”
                  2. To Remove a Run(s)
                     1. Press and hold down on the appropriate Run name to remove from the “Chosen runs” list – then Remove
                        Note:  At least 1 run must chosen.
                     2. Click on “Done” when finished

For “Specific Schools”

1. 1. 1. 1. 1. Open the App
            2. To run the SETUP, on the top of the App Screen, click on the blue wrench icon
               1. Enter Quick Code = steo
                  1. Then verify, you should see “Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario”
                  2. Then click on “Next”
               2. Then click on “Specific Schools”
                  1. Select School by clicking within the “Select” school box
                  2. Once you have clicked in the box, a list of all Schools will appear at the bottom of the screen
                  3. Scroll through the list and when the appropriate school is highlighted, click the BLUE plus sign to add the School to the “Chosen Schools” list
                  4. Then click “Next” this will exit from the SETUP menu
                     You will now receive a pop up notification on your mobile device for ALL delays and cancellations for the School(s) you selected
                     Note:  To remove a school, follow the same process as listed for “My Child’s Bus” to remove.

For “All Alerts”
Caution:  This will push out notifications for All runs going to All Schools.

      2. To run the SETUP, on the top of the App Screen, click on the blue wrench icon
         1. Enter Quick Code = steo
            1. Then verify, you should see “Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario”
            2. Then click on “Next”
         2. Then click on “All Alerts”
         3. You will be prompted with a Confirmation screen, click on “OK” if you would like to proceed.
